What if GWB had said he admired Kerry's Jewish Great Grand Father Benedikt Kohn when answering a question on immigration. Would the media be defending his reference the same way they are with Kerry's reference to Mary Cheney?

I am a 55 year old guy that tends to be vocal about many subjects. I am married to a wonderful woman who tolerates my rants and 4 cats that dont.
